The service is intended for older and disabled residents who cannot safely complete garden tasks themselves and may not have family, friends or neighbours who can regularly help.
Eligible residents pay the £20 community support rate when a funded place is available. ACE manages the funding arrangements, so residents do not need to find or approach a sponsor.

Before booking, we confirm which tasks our supervised team can complete. The service does not include structural repairs, specialist landscaping, tree surgery, work at height, hazardous waste or unsafe work.

Sponsored support is intended for residents whose age, disability, health or mobility makes it difficult or unsafe to maintain essential outdoor access.
We will ask a few simple questions to understand the need, check the postcode and confirm whether a funded place is currently available. You do not need to find or contact a sponsor.
Funded places are subject to availability.The standard £40 hourly service may still be available when community support places are fully allocated.
